Destination: Las Vegas

Who wouldn’t enjoy a trip to Las Vegas?
Sin city has so much to offer when it comes to entertainment, food and shopping.
I decided to compile a short list of some ‘off-Strip’ things to do and places to see in Vegas for those who want more than what the famous Strip has to offer.

1. Red Rock Canyon

Red Rock canyon is home to beautiful scenery and great hiking trails. The actual Red rock formations make a great backdrop for selfies :). This area is great for families or a group of friends to enjoy.

2. Mt. Charleston

This place is wonderful all year-around. Just like Red Rock Canyon, it offers some great trails, as well as some fun outdoor activities. The Winter brings about a nice blanket of snow for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts.

3. Downtown Las Vegas

Downtown LV has gone through a series of renovations and updates over the years. It has now become a focal point for amazing food and fun dive bars.

4. Downtown Summerlin

This outdoor shopping plaza located just Northwest of the strip opened its doors in 2014. It offers shopping, dining, and a movie theater. The perfect place for a date night or if you are looking for a more relaxed shopping experience.

5. Town Square

Town Square is located on Las Vegas Boulevard just South of the strip. If you aren’t able to make the 12 mile(approx) trip to Downtown Summerlin, then this is a great alternative.

6. Las Vegas North Premium Outlets

This place is perfect for anyone looking for a great bargain. From Saks Off Fifth to Nike to Burberry, This outdoor plaza offers some of the best outlet shops you can find.
Some of the places above offer a few of my favorite restaurants in Vegas. Feel free to comment below for suggestions.
